A Table for Four

A Table For Four invites craft enthusiasts and newcomers alike into a warm, collaborative studio environment. Hosted by artist and local creative curator Ciaran Doran, the series showcases tips, tricks and techniques across a wide range of disciplines. Episodes cover wool work creating blankets, cuddly toys and handbags; lino and gel plate printing; paper crafts including roses and capers; flower pressing; chalkboards; lampshade decoration; and even retro drawstring bags for swimming togs. Guests include Christine Stringer, Deborah McNiece, Shannon McShane, Lauren Martin, Willow McLean and Janine Cousins, each sharing their practice and expertise.

The series also ventures on tour to community venues such as Falls Road Library, extending its reach beyond the studio. Through live demonstrations and friendly conversation, A Table For Four demystifies creative processes while celebrating Belfast’s maker culture. Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or looking to pick up a new skill, the show welcomes all comers to learn, create and connect with fellow crafters.
