Ceol ón Chultúrlann captures live music sessions recorded remotely for the Cultúrlann’s Laoi an Lae radio programme during the early months of the pandemic. Across four episodes released between June and July 2020, musicians perform from home studios when live gatherings weren’t possible.

The series emerged as a creative solution to lockdown constraints, keeping Belfast’s Irish‑language cultural institution connected to its audience through sound. Rather than interviews or documentaries, each episode focuses purely on the performances themselves – a quiet documentation of how arts organisations adapted when venues closed.
