Future Tense is a four‑part community relations series supported by the Community Relations Council. Each episode tackles a different aspect of building cohesion in contemporary Northern Ireland.
Episode one examines intercultural issues with support from Craic NI. Episode two looks at how community arts can foster a more cohesive society. Episode three explores creative approaches to commemorating centenaries – particularly relevant as Northern Ireland marks major historical anniversaries. Episode four considers challenges and opportunities around shared housing in a post‑conflict, multicultural context.
Recorded in late 2015, the series addresses practical questions about how communities live together after decades of division. It’s forward‑looking by design – asking what shared life might look like rather than dwelling on past conflicts.
