Life At The Met is a student‑produced magazine series from Belfast Metropolitan College. Across ten episodes between March 2015 and February 2018, students and staff create programmes about college life, courses and campus projects.
Each episode follows the same format: a student‑made magazine show covering what’s happening at the Met. Whether it’s showcasing student work, interviewing staff or exploring particular courses, the series puts learners in charge of the camera and the editing suite. The final episode aired in May 2018, capping off three years of student broadcasting.
It’s a snapshot of vocational training in practice – young people learning media skills while documenting their own educational journey.
