On The Box

On The Box is a live music series showcasing singer-songwriters and instrumentalists from Belfast and across Northern Ireland.

Guests include virtuoso fingerstyle guitarist David Browne Murray, folk veteran Fergus Woods, solo performer John McLaverty of The Sandrunners, and Stones From David who brings indie folk to the studio. Others range from dark acoustic folk artist Edelle McMahon to country singer Paddy Godfrey, with appearances by AOIBHA, Joe Kenny, Ross Archibald, Jennifer Jones, Marty Tohill and the duo Leithinis. Each session blends conversation with performance, capturing musicians in an intimate setting. It’s a platform for local talent to share their stories and songs without the polish of a formal studio recording.
