Reclaim The Agenda is a feminist discussion series tackling women’s rights, social justice and political activism in Northern Ireland. Running from December 2014 to February 2018, the programmes address contentious policy issues alongside grassroots campaigning.

Episodes span reproductive rights including abortion updates, the rape clause, and the abortion pill study; violence against women covering domestic abuse, sexual harassment and female genital mutilation; and economic justice addressing child poverty, food poverty, austerity cuts and Positive Money. Other topics include marriage equality, International Women’s Day specials, childcare, sexism, refugees, May Day, and the Orgreave Truth and Justice campaign.

The series features a special episode with Angela Davis in Belfast, North Belfast women’s voices, socialist opposition to WW1, and elections and political crisis coverage. It combines policy analysis with personal testimony, documenting both legislative battles and community mobilisation around women’s issues in a period of significant social change.
