Stories Frae the Loanen is an Ulster‑Scots language series exploring rural domestic life through objects and activities. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of traditional household practices, told in dialect.

The six episodes cover ‘The Proota Basket’ (potato basket), ‘The Griddle’, ‘Reddin Up’ (cleaning/tidying), ‘Hame’ (home), ‘Founthered’ (foundation/grounded), and ‘Gie us a Han’ (give us a hand). All released simultaneously in May 2023, the programmes are designed to preserve and showcase Ulster‑Scots vocabulary related to everyday domestic tasks and rural heritage.
