Sustainability Socials

Sustainability Socials brings businesses and researchers together for conversations on environmental impact and community sustainability. Hosted by Dr Fodhla McGrane from Ulster University Business School, the series features studio discussions where guests share their experiences working towards a greener future.

Episode one includes Sarah Fearon from Stonelough Consultancy and Julie Hoey, co-founder of Sonas. Episode two features PhD researcher Tracy Tsang, alongside Sarah Hoppe (founder of Sew Ready) and Rachel McIlgorm (founder of StoryBox NI). The programmes explore how organisations operate within their communities, their approaches to environmental responsibility, and collaborative efforts to create sustainable outcomes.

Recorded in June 2025 as part of Ulster University’s initiative to invite businesses onto campus, the series connects academic perspectives with practical entrepreneurship in the sustainability sector.
